Dr. Matthew Aaronian was
born and raised in Southern California. His
undergraduate work was completed at Cal Poly
Pomona. He graduated from Kansas State
University with his Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine in 2005. Upon graduation from
veterinary school, he worked in Colorado
Springs, CO in a small animal emergency
practice. This experience taught him what
good quality medicine was and exposed him to
many interesting cases (and people).
After 2 years of practice in Colorado, he
and his fiancée Brandy, decided to move back
to California. He joined the staff at
Atascadero Pet Hospital & Emergency Center
in February 2007. His professional interests
include internal medicine, surgery, and
oncology. His interest and research in
oncology has helped to establish new
chemotherapy protocols within our hospital.
He and Brandy were married in August 2008.
In their spare time, they enjoy doing things
with their dogs, Forest, Kayak, Graham and
Raina, as well as traveling and spending
time with family. They also have the best
cat in the world, Toby, but he likes to stay
at home. |
