"A Full Service Veterinary Hospital Serving the Pets, People,
and Veterinarians of the Central Coast."

Dr. David Edsall obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1992 and completed a formal internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Mesa Veterinary Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. After working and traveling in Southeast Asia, he practiced at an emergency and referral hospital in Tucson for 11 years. He was a staff veterinarian at the A.Z.A accredited zoos at Reid Park and Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson.

He joined the Atascadero Pet Hospital & Emergency Center in January 2006 and expanded our services with exotics, which are an interest to him. He is recognized as a wildlife capture specialist and works closely with Pacific Wildlife Care to provide veterinary services to injured wildlife in our community. In January 2008 he expanded his position to include practice owner alongside, Dr. Aaron Schechter and Dr. Cherbinsky.

Dr. Edsall and his wife, Aimee, live in Atascadero with their three dogs, a cat and two tortoises. They enjoy the outdoors and traveling in their spare time. Dr. Edsall also volunteers his time traveling with the International Humane Society setting us spay and neuter clinics around the world.
