Dr. David Edsall obtained
his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from
Colorado State University in 1992 and
completed a formal internship in Small
Animal Medicine and Surgery at Mesa
Veterinary Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. After
working and traveling in Southeast Asia, he
practiced at an emergency and referral
hospital in Tucson for 11 years. He was a
staff veterinarian at the A.Z.A accredited
zoos at Reid Park and Arizona Sonora Desert
Museum in Tucson.
He joined the Atascadero Pet Hospital &
Emergency Center in January 2006 and
expanded our services with exotics, which
are an interest to him. He is recognized as
a wildlife capture specialist and works
closely with Pacific Wildlife Care to
provide veterinary services to injured
wildlife in our community. In January 2008
he expanded his position to include practice
owner alongside, Dr. Aaron Schechter and Dr.
Cherbinsky.
Dr. Edsall and his wife, Aimee, live in
Atascadero with their three dogs, a cat and
two tortoises. They enjoy the outdoors and
traveling in their spare time. Dr. Edsall
also volunteers his time traveling with the
International Humane Society setting us spay
and neuter clinics around the world. |
