Dr. Marby Hambright, a
native of Wichita, Kansas, graduated from
Kansas State University in 1980. She
interned at the Conejo Valley Veterinary
Clinic (a mixed animal practice) in Thousand
Oaks, California before moving to Texas A&M
University where she completed a residency
in large animal internal medicine.
She then relocated to the Central Coast
where she leased the Bear Valley Animal
Clinic in Los Osos for two years after which
time she established Mobile Veterinary
Services-a mobile mixed animal practice
which incorporated small animal relief work
for various practices on the Central Coast
and farm calls.
She joined the Atascadero Pet Hospital &
Emergency Center as a relief vet in 2001. In
2008 she joined our hospital on a full time
basis, while still operating her mobile
practice. Her interests include emergency
medicine, dermatology and mobile services.
She and her husband, Mark, were married in
2000. They own a gold mine and enjoy
prospecting for gold. She is involved with
the Mid Coast Veterinary Medical
Association, having been program chair for 5
years and president for 1 year. They
currently live in Santa Margarita. |
