"A Full Service Veterinary Hospital Serving the Pets, People,
and Veterinarians of the Central Coast."

Dr. Marby Hambright, a native of Wichita, Kansas, graduated from Kansas State University in 1980. She interned at the Conejo Valley Veterinary Clinic (a mixed animal practice) in Thousand Oaks, California before moving to Texas A&M University where she completed a residency in large animal internal medicine.

She then relocated to the Central Coast where she leased the Bear Valley Animal Clinic in Los Osos for two years after which time she established Mobile Veterinary Services-a mobile mixed animal practice which incorporated small animal relief work for various practices on the Central Coast and farm calls.

She joined the Atascadero Pet Hospital & Emergency Center as a relief vet in 2001. In 2008 she joined our hospital on a full time basis, while still operating her mobile practice. Her interests include emergency medicine, dermatology and mobile services.

She and her husband, Mark, were married in 2000. They own a gold mine and enjoy prospecting for gold. She is involved with the Mid Coast Veterinary Medical Association, having been program chair for 5 years and president for 1 year. They currently live in Santa Margarita.
