Dr. Polina Vishkautsan attended veterinary school in Jerusalem, Israel and completed the ECFVG program at Cornell University. She went on to complete an Internal Medicine residency at Angell Animal Medical Center, followed by 4 years of private referral practice in Boston and Phoenix.
In July 2010, she joined the Atascadero Pet Hospital & Emergency Center as our Internal Medicine specialist. She has a professional interest in Gastro-Intestinal diseases, Endocrine diseases, Emergency and Critical Care medicine.

She enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Bufus and Clint, as well as two cats, Lapa and Patchouli. Now that she resides here in the beautiful central coast she is hoping to pursue her hobby of photography more avidly.
