At Atascadero Pet Hospital & Emergency Center, we are equipped with our own Isolation Ward. This is a separately contained ward to house patients with contagious diseases such as:
• Kennel Cough
• Parvo
• Distemper
• Cats with upper respiratory disease.
Our staff follows standard safety precautions when entering and exiting this ward. Our isolation ward is also carefully disinfected daily and between patients. This provides protection to all other animals within our hospital.
